Russian taolu team after winning three medals at 9th World Wushu Championships in Beijing continues the competition. Good chance in Nanquan and nandao have both Stas Galkin and Alex Nazinkin, meanwhile Svetlana Zhurkina & Yulia Chernitsova will try their chances in Daoshu and Jianshu.

The Chinese State TV made a 1 hour-long coverage on Russian wushu federation and russian wushu team. The crew went to Moscow to make a documentary on a Moscow wushu school - one of the best Martial Arts schools in the World, which produced a lot of World martial Arts champions and MA movies stars. The documentary was broadcasted all-over China Saturday for some 300 000 000 audience.

Тhe vice-president of Chinese NOC Feng Jizheng on a visit to Moscow went to the training Center of Russian national wushu team. After watching the display of best Russian athletes, Mr. Feng noticied that the Chinese wushu team will be confronted with "some concurrence" during the Olympic wushu tournament in Beijing 2008.

Russian President Vladimir Poutin visited the legendary Shaolin Temple in Dengfen, Henan, China. The purpose of this non-official visit was to get to know better the history of Chinese Martial arts and their cradle - Shaolinsi. Vladimir Poutine is a genuine Martial Artist, since he holds a 9-th degree black belt in Kodokan Judo. His daughter is practising chinese wushu.

Russian wushu team once again confirmed it's reputation as one of World's best wushu teams! The gold and bronze medals of Daria Tarassova and a silver medal of 16 years-old Stanislav Galkin are opening the road for russian team to the participation in the 2008 Beijing Olympic wushu tournament! Russian sanshou fighters Dzhankhuvat Beletov and Muslim Salikhov after winning two gold medals bring the number to 3! The overall score of russian wushu dream team is: 3 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze and 4th place among teams (98 countries). We wish best luck to all teammates and coaches and cogratulations for the tremendous work that have been done!
